Kumuka's Amazing Race Asian Adventure

ITINERARY
Day 1	Arrive Ho Chi Minh City
	You’ll be met outside the arrivals hall of Ho Chi Minh Airport and transferred to our hotel near the city centre. This early encounter with Vietnam will have you animated with excitement in anticipation of the challenge ahead. Before dinner we will all meet up in the bar where the tour leader will focus your minds on what will happen on the challenge, introduce the teams as well as get to know each other better. Day 2	Ho Chi Minh City / Race day
	Today marks the start of Kumuka’s Amazing Race adventure! An early start this morning as we head off on our first day’s race around Saigon. Prepare for all kinds of activities and fun as you take on this dynamic and bustling city. The people and set culture will animate your imagination as to the amazement of how the people of Ho Chi Minh City operate. In the afternoon we will transfer down to the Mekong Delta in the far south of Vietnam (5 hours) and board a boat to our accommodation. That night we’ll enjoy a river cruise for dinner and be able to view the river side by night will a display of varied native wildlife. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner Accommodation: Can Tho
Day 3	The Mekong Delta / race day
	Today you’ll be racing through the watery world of the Vietnam Delta, Vietnam’s bread basket and the most fertile and densely populated part of the country. This location is described as a biological treasure trove as there have been over 10 000 new species of wildlife found along the shores of the Mekong Delta. Today’s race will take you from one location in the Delta to another under your own steam. By exploring different sections of the Mekong Delta it will enable you to forever be tantalised with the interaction of local people and their way of life. Today’s race finishes on a high! Day 4&5	Phu Quoc Island
	Today we’ll be making our way to the rugged, tropical Island of Phu Quoc, off Vietnam’s southern coast. This hidden island is full of lush forests and native flora and fauna that will keep you forever entertained, and not to forget the untouched beaches which are famous for its picturesque environments. Here we will have a mixture of race and rest time for you to explore this beautiful island and its famed beaches. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner Accommodation: Phu Quoc
Day 6	Cambodia, to Phnom Penh
	Today we’ll be making our way from Vietnam to Cambodia back to the mainland and onwards to Cambodia, arriving the same day. You’ll need passport photos for your visa. Arrive into Phnom Penh in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel. To rejuvenate after several race days you will be able to have some free time to explore Phnom Penh and its individualistic culture before dinner. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner Accommodation: Phnom Penh
Day 7	Phnom Penh / race day
	Today we’ll be exploring the boulevards and sights on an exciting race through Phnom Penh. This race day is designed not only to test your skills but also let you immerse yourself into the streets of Phnom Penh. Some clues will be based around the sights so it will be at your advantage to talk to the locals and their knowledge of cultural sites. Meals: Breakfast Accommodation: Phnom Penh
Day 8	Race to Siem Reap / race
	Depart Phnom Penh this morning with transport of your choosing to race to Siem Reap. Tour leaders will provide you with some assistance but remember the quickest way the better! In the afternoon we take a trip out to some of the lesser visited temples from the 9th century to watch a sunset and take in the amazing atmosphere. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner Accommodation: Siem Reap
Day 8-9	Angkor Wat / race & rest days
	What an amazing day that lies ahead as you search for clues to your challenges amidst the extraordinary ruined city of Angkor and its temples. Today’s race is a little different as it’s not timed and allows teams plenty of time to explore the magnificent Angkor complex. Day 10	Race to Thailand / race day
	Today you’ll be racing other teams to the Thai border, then transfer by vehicle to spend the evening in Bangkok. Awards night and celebrations. Meals: Breakfast Accommodation: Bangkok
Day 11	Bangkok / race day
	Take on the madness of Bangkok as you decide which transport will best take you round its frenetic streets. The hustle bustle of Bangkok’s street will leave you in a daze but provide you with an experience of how fast-tracked society is in this location. Day 12	Bangkok (free day)
	Today marks the conclusion of Kumuka’s Amazing Race tour. By now your cultural senses should be full of knowledge and your legs still full of energy after your racing.
